Ready-made bio templates
Pick a template, tap copy, then swap the placeholder lines for your own details.
How to change your Instagram bio
- Type your name above and copy whichever style you like.
- Open Instagram and go to your profile.
- Tap Edit profile.
- Paste into the Name field for a stylish display name, or into Bio for the multi-line templates.
- Tap Done — the styling shows up immediately.
Instagram allows 150 characters in the bio and 30 in the name field. Decorated symbols count as characters too, so keep an eye on the length.
What makes a bio actually work
A bio has about two seconds to tell a visitor whether to follow you. The ones that convert tend to share the same four lines:
- Who you are — one clear label, not a list of adjectives.
- What people get — the reason to follow, stated plainly.
- Something human — a city, a hobby, a small detail people remember.
- One call to action — a single link, and a line pointing at it.
Line breaks matter more than decoration. Write the bio in your notes app with the breaks you want, then paste the whole thing in — typing Enter directly in the Instagram app often collapses the lines.
Where else these styles work
- Facebook — name and posts
- WhatsApp — profile name and status
- Free Fire, BGMI and PUBG — player names, guild tags
- Discord — nicknames and server names
- YouTube — channel name and descriptions
- Telegram and Snapchat — display names
Everything here is real Unicode rather than an image, so it travels wherever text goes.
